Aim: Win Ringo Starr’s signed drumhead, Old Firm & whisky prizes—support the renovation of Scotland’s ‘Ghost Tower’ at Campsie High Kirk project!
Enter now to win a drumhead signed by Ringo Starr – direct from Ringo HQ – and support the ambitious restoration of one of Scotland’s most iconic buildings.
We’re running a national prize draw in support of Friends of Campsie High Kirk, a registered Scottish charity restoring the historic 1828 kirk in Lennoxtown, East Dunbartonshire. At its heart stands the dramatic tower now known as Scotland’s “Ghost Tower” — a powerful new symbol rising from a lost legacy.
The original spire, designed by David Hamilton, the father of Scottish architecture, was destroyed by fire. Now, we are replacing it with a bold, contemporary structure that ghosts Hamilton’s neoclassical style — a 21st-century echo of a visionary design. It’s striking, iconic, and deliberately crafted to go viral as a new cultural landmark.
That’s why we call it the Ghost Tower. At Campsie High Kirk, Lennoxtown, Glasgow.
🎁 The Prizes
Our headline prize is a Remo drumhead signed by Ringo Starr, inscribed with his “Peace and Love” message and featuring his own original design. This unique item was gifted direct from Ringo’s headquarters, with full provenance.
As Ringo no longer signs memorabilia, this is an exceptionally rare opportunity — a prize with real artistic, cultural, and collectible value.
Also up for grabs:
A signed Celtic FC shirt direct from Celtic FC
Rangers top
Official stadium tours for both Celtic and Rangers
Signed official Scotland Rugby Ball from SRU
Premium Scotch whiskies from The Clydeside Distillery and Glengoyne Distillery
Clydeside Distillery tour for select winners
Monthly Highland Spring prize draws
Bonus memorabilia and more prizes to be confirmed
Ringo drum skin is direct from Ringo HQ. It is valuable and unique as he does not sign items anymore.
⚽ The Old Firm: A Prize with Passion
The Celtic–Rangers rivalry is legendary — a cornerstone of Scottish culture, passion, and identity. Whether you're green, blue, or just love football heritage, these prizes give you inside access to the drama and glory.
🥃 Whisky That Tells a Story
Our whisky prizes celebrate world-class Scottish craft, with bottles and experiences from Clydeside and Glengoyne Distilleries. Select winners will enjoy distillery tours, bringing them straight into the heart of Scottish whisky-making tradition.
🛠️ Why Your Entry Matters
We’ve already raised funding for our feasibility study, but now we need your help to move to the next stage:
Developing and promoting the new design
Preparing the site for works
Engaging the wider community
Attracting large-scale capital investment
We’ve received backing from the Scottish Government, been featured on STV News (Watch here), and profiled in a Herald feature by Kevin McKenna. But now, it’s about scaling up — and that takes people power.
💬 This is all about community empowerment.
We need your help to get empowered for the next stage in changing outcomes in our line of sight — and we hope you do the same somewhere in yours.
We’re aiming to raise £5,000 through this national prize draw to support the next phase of the Ghost Tower project — including promoting the architectural design, preparing the site, and building community momentum for capital funding.
Every ticket sold gets us one step closer — and with enough support, we believe we can stretch beyond this to £7,500 or even £10,000.
Whether you're in it for the prizes, the cause, or the story — thank you for helping us make it real.
