Ed and Ross will be riding a tandem bike from Lands End to London in the 5 days leading up to Xmas all to raise funds for the M2M Foundation
Project by Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation Cio
For five days leading up to Christmas on 18th-22nd December, Ed Jackson and his trusty companion Ross will take on more than 500km of synchronised pedalling from Lands End to London, on a tandem bicycle and 'sleigh', towing their old pal the Christmas tree; all to raise vital funds for The Millimetres 2 Mountains Foundation and a guest charity.
You might know 'Ed the mountaineer' but 'Ed the cyclist' isn't yet so familiar. This will be Ed's first ever multi-day, long distance bike ride... A genuine challenge for him and for Ross who will be on the front trying to pedal the longest, heaviest tandem that has surely ever existed.
Although a bit of fun, the boys don’t do these challenges for themselves. They hope to raise funds for Millimetres 2 Mountains to support their beneficiaries for 2024 and beyond. All whilst spreading some Xmas cheer. On the way they will be stopping at Salisbury Spinal Unit where Ed was in hospital to drop off some presents to the patients too.
Thank you!
