In February this year, we sadly lost Kev to cancer. Kev was one of the fittest lads we knew — a marathon runner and someone who had completed the Coast to Coast bike ride twice. To honour his memory, his brothers, his dad, and a group of close friends are taking on the Coast to Coast once again, recreating the journey Kev enjoyed (we also felt this more fitting than running a marathon given our combined fitness levels😂).
We’re taking on this challenge not just to remember Kev, but to raise money for the Phoenix Unit at Sunderland Hospital. The Phoenix Unit was a massive support for Kev and the family, providing care, compassion, and treatment during an incredibly difficult time. Their work is invaluable to families facing this awful disease, and we want to give back so they can continue helping others.
This ride is our way of celebrating Kev’s adventurous spirit and his strength while making a difference for those who need it most. Any donation, big or small, will go directly to the Phoenix Unit and help them continue their incredible work.
The ride will start in Whitehaven on 12th September and end on Roker beach on the 14th.
Please help us honour Kev’s memory and support a cause that meant so much to him, by donating a few gold coins.
Thank you from all of us. ❤️
