This Good Fri Day, we’re taking on a 30-hour Danceathon to raise funds to secure three free weekly sessions for the following year. These sessions will provide:
A Warm, Safe Space: A welcoming environment where people can meet, relax, and feel at home.
Creative Expression: Dance, art, and drumming activities that help people connect, express themselves, and feel valued.
Community Connection: Opportunities for individuals to build relationships, find support, and feel part of something bigger.
Small organisations like ours make a huge impact, delivering vital services and creating meaningful change in ways that larger systems often overlook. With your help, we can continue this vital work and reach even more people.
How We’ll Use the Funds
Every pound raised will go directly toward:
Running three weekly sessions (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday) for an entire year.
Providing materials for art, dance, and drumming activities.
Supporting local artists and leaders who bring these sessions to life.
Offering refreshments and a warm, safe space where everyone feels welcome.
These sessions will ensure that no one in our community goes more than a few days without seeing friendly faces, connecting with others, and having a space to express themselves.
