Aim: Re:Wired Museum and Arcade wants to provide an awe inspiring new venue in the North East with a retro arcade and technology museum.
Hi, I'm Rob — a lifelong lover of all things tech, games, and digital culture. I'm the founder of Re:Wired Museum & Arcade CIC, a community-driven project to be based in Teesside with a simple but powerful goal:
To preserve the past, inspire the future, and bring people together through the power of play.
Re:Wired isn’t just about nostalgia. It’s about connecting generations — giving kids, parents, and even grandparents a chance to explore how games, computers, mobile phones, and digital gadgets have shaped our world. Whether it’s playing a classic arcade game, seeing a Commodore 64 boot up, or understanding how mobile phones evolved, Re:Wired aims to bring it all to life.
The Team
While I’m leading the project, I will be backed by a growing team of volunteers, educators, collectors, and digital creatives. Together, we want to building a space that’s fun, hands-on, and educational — one that’s accessible and welcoming to all.
Our Vision
We will create a fully interactive space that’s part retro arcade, part technology museum, and part community hub.
Think:
But this is just the beginning.
