We began our organisation by collecting humanitarian aid for Ukraine on the outset of the war. Within a week we had enough donations to send a full van load to Ukraine. During the next 4 weeks we sent 5 more van loads. When bigger charities started sending aid into Ukraine we decided to focus on Ukrainian refugees in our local area.
We are offering support in everyday life by helping with translation and learning English, guidance when applying for jobs and government applications and help with opening bank accounts.
We are providing humanitarian aid when needed, including food, clothes, personal hygiene items, toys etc. We also arrange social events where the refugee families can meet and share their experiences to help them settle in.
