A message from Fr Dorathick  current Prior at Saccidananda Ashram, Shantivanam:

Dear Friends,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirit. I am reaching out to you on behalf of our ashram regarding an important matter that requires our collective support.

As many of you know, Fr. Bede’s hut has been a place of reflection, solitude, and spiritual nourishment for countless individuals over the years. Unfortunately, time and the elements have severely damaged the structure, necessitating urgent renovations.

To preserve this cherished space and ensure its continued use for prayer, contemplation, and hospitality, we are organising a renovation effort. The project will include necessary repairs to the roof, walls, flooring, and other structural elements to restore the hut to its former simplicity and beauty.

We are humbly seeking your support—whether through financial contributions, materialsto help us complete this project. Any assistance, no matter the size, will go a long way in maintaining this sacred space for future generations.

.

Thank you for your generosity and for being part of this to preserve a space that has meant so much to so many. May we continue to build together in faith, love, and service.

we need roughy 350,000.00 rupees (Euro 3886)

With gratitude and blessings,

Fr. Dorathick
