United Families UK has been helping families across the UK since 2019 with various needs, from practical support to general advice.
Our head offices are based in Deal, Kent, but we have hubs across the country, with no plans to stop growing over the next 5 years. We have already been recognised as the fasted growing NFP in our area, due to our pragmatic determination to help everyone, regardless of their history, In our opinion, EVRERYONE deserves a chance.
The aim of the restart project, will see us stop good quality second hand furniture and household items, end up in landfill, we will stock them, have them quality checked, then put them in bundles,
Our vision is, that when a Local Authority contacts us, and informs us a Family has been placed in a new home, be it temporary or long term, but has absolutely nothing, We will liaise with the tenant, check their requirements, then have it loaded on a van, delivered to them, and unloaded, allowing them to make a fresh start, without the added financial pressures, the need for debt, etc, Our restart bundle will have the complete basics, they need, They may not be the best options, but they will be good quality and the essentials.
We need a warehouse, and a Van to make this project a reality, So we are asking you, the community, to support this, Their will be grants available long term, but due to the scale of the project, we need to make this a reality first,
