Help protect coral reefs and fund student-led research!
We are a group of undergraduate students embarking on an expedition, to Koh Phangan, Thailand in June 2025. Our proposed research includes projects relating to blue-spotted rays and clams, as well as investigating butterfly species diversity and anthropogenic disturbance to coral reef structure and health.
We will be collaborating closely with the Centre for Oceanic Research and Education: South East Asia (COREsea). COREsea is an NGO that has been conducting research on Koh Phangan since 2011 and works with various international research organisations to inform conservation and protection of marine habitats in South-East Asia.
In order for our studies to be thorough, we will be undertaking this research over the course of 6 weeks which will require significant planning and appropriate resources. With your support, we can realise this vision and fund field supplies, transportation, accommodation and other associated costs.
To keep up to date with our journey, follow us on Instagram! @thailandexpedition25; here we will be posting updates on any fundraising events or challenges throughout the year, along with lots of Thailand content once the expedition is underway!
Feel free to drop us a message if you have any questions!
