Rescue Cats NI

Rescue Cats NI have rescued thousands of cats over the years.  I, Lynsey scrimped hard for years to purchase my new home and the rescues new premises 2 years ago ago, all fully funded by me.  I have been striving to renovate the barn to provide the best possible facilities to cats in our care.  We have well over 100 cats at any one time.  This includes elderly cats or those with long term health conditions, also a feral colony that have the safety and freedom to roam.

We need to fix our leaking roof, install pvc double doors and a window to the back of the barn, install runs to the front/back of the barn and also from Harry’s Cabin to a run.  This will enable our wee oldies to still experience fresh air and the outdoors without getting lost or escaping.  The barn needs the rewiring finished and electrical issues dealt with.  We have came on in leaps and strides in the past 2 years but have an awful lot more to achieve.  

We need to purchase another smaller portacabin to be situated outside the barn.  This will provide us with essential isolation space for new cats coming to the rescue.  We have been hit by illnesses spreading because of the lack of space.  This will be invaluable.

We have the most amazing supporters and followers and every single penny is counted.  I proud myself in running a rescue where 100% of funds received go to the cats.  We have NO paid staff which will continue.
