Aim: Our Centre helps people with learning difficulties. One of our current minibuses is 14 years old and needs replacement
The New Blendworth Centre exists to promote the cause of people with learning difficulties. We help these people to gain self respect, confidence and self esteem by providing horticulture work in our large nursery and garden centre and also by off site and outreach work at local businesses. We have around 47 centre users who are collected and returned to their carers in our three minibuses and this application is for funds to help us replace one of those minibuses which is now 14 years old
The Centre operates as a VAT registered business and The New Blendworth Centre Association, who are making this application, is the charity which acts as the "Friends" and "guardian angels" of The Centre.
