Aim: It's very important that Reparations enters a worldwide festival run. Being selected or winning will add value to the film.

An hour-old black baby girl is abandoned in a London telephone box by her 15-year-old mother. That child is found and adopted by a white family, is raised in an all white community in Devon, faces racism and loneliness at school, internalises her traumas forming eating disorders to deal with her muted pain. She studious, studies Law at Oxford, becomes a barrister, falls in reciprocal love with the son of a billionaire, but her picture-perfect life begins to unravel when she realises that she is marrying into a dynasty whose vast wealth stems from the enslavement of her ancestor.
