Remake: Cornwall is a repurpose organisation, run by 15 volunteers who are passionate about keeping food, textiles and furniture from landfill. We support approximately 180 families each week with food, this year through daily community fridge and pantry or home deliveries.
During covid we distributed over 2500 food parcels by collecting from a minimum of 4 supermarkets per evening and other local businesses within the community.
We have been collecting daily for the last 16 months, and we are now fund raising to cover volunteers fuel costs, electricity and to purchase a freezer.
Our crowd funder campaign will allow us to continue this important project, enabling us to continue to collect fresh reusable food , keeping it from landfill and helping families from all backgrounds within the community.
