Releasing an album

During a winter of retreat and deep reflection, a series of songs have come in being! Which has brought much joy to me as a musician and storyteller. I am now at the point of stepping into recording 10 songs for my album Breathe. I have included here the first song Breathe, which has already been recorded as way of giving a hint of the flavour of the album. The funding is for recording costs and the additional costs of including other musicians on the album. Each person who donates £10 will be pre-ordering the digital version of the album and £15 for the physical C.D. When I sing it is an expression of the raw human experience, reaching deep down inside myself and finding the gold within. It takes bravery, it takes surrender. Music is a reflection of my spiritual path. It continues to ask me who am I today? I cannot hide from it. Music calls to me and I have to answer. I walk this path, it stretches out before me and I take each step as a path of awakening, to guide me to the next version of myself. Just like the soul is eternal, so too is the music.
