Who we are
We're 2 volunteer-led CICs supporting people with their wellbeing and mental health.
Rusty Road 2 Recovery and Mingle Cafe , based in Bridgwater, Somerset.
We believe that art has the power to heal, inspire, and connect people. Help us give local artists a chance to shine and help us turn a boring old wall into a stunning piece of Urban Art.
We need your help to make it happen. You're not just helping to beautify our space; you're also providing a platform for local artists to showcase their talent and contribute to a positive environment. This project will offer artists an opportunity to express themselves creatively, while also creating a stimulating and uplifting space for our community members. This will be achieved through an open call to local artists to design and create artwork for each border of the alleyway.
£1500 will cover the cost of paint and scaffold tower.
£4500 will cover the above and a decent wages to commission Artists.
The minimum we need is the cost of paint. Any additional funds raised will go directly towards compensating the artists for their incredible work. We're volunteering our time to make this happen, ensuring that every penny raised goes directly towards the project's goals.
This is the first step in our vision to revitalize St. John Street, Bridgwater.
