Over the last six years we have provided over 200,000 nights of accommodation all over the UK. Nights that would otherwise be spent sleeping on park benches, night buses or worse.
We have nearly 10,000 hosts across the UK. Nearly half have applied recently in response to the crises in Afghanistan and Ukraine. We now urgently need to grow our team to ensure we can process this unprecedented level of generosity.
We have hosted people from over 65 countries, and some stateless people too.
We were pleased to welcome our first guests from Ukraine in the last few days - a mother and baby. They were incredibly tired after such a long journey but very happy and surprised to receive such a warm welcome. We are expecting many, many more guests from Ukraine over the coming weeks.
