A bickering couple's date night at the cinema takes an unexpected turn when the period film they’re watching mirrors their argument.
Synopsis
When Lily finally gets to choose the film for cinema date night, she’s frustrated when Mark can’t be bothered to pay attention. Meanwhile, in the period film they’re watching, Jane grows upset with her partner, Edward, who shows little interest in her life. While Lily and Mark’s passive aggressive, restrained tension plays out in the cinema, the assertive quarrel between Jane and Edward on screen may reveal how they truly feel.
