Birmingham Redsea is more than just a football team — we are a community lifeline. Based in Birmingham, we bring together individuals from all walks of life, especially those who have faced addiction, time in prison, or personal struggles, and offer them a safe, positive environment away from negative influences.
Our mission is to use sport as a tool for healing, discipline, and transformation. Through regular training, matches, and team bonding, we help people build confidence, structure, and a renewed sense of purpose. We provide mentorship, brotherhood, and a second chance to those who are often forgotten or judged by society.
Founded by members of the Eritrean and wider African diaspora, Birmingham Redsea promotes unity, cultural pride, and resilience. With the right funding, we aim to expand our support network, improve access to resources, and continue changing lives — one person, one game, one step at a time.
