Recuperation

Hello! We are Guady, Lucas and Mel from Argentina. We are all circus artists. I (Guady) live in Europe and my brother, Lucas, and his girlfriend, Mel, had come to visit me. We decided to come to the UK for 10 days on a road trip.

On the 1st day we parked at Pett Pools (Winchelsea Beach, Rye) to have a picnic on the beach and when we returned the window of our car had been broken, and the following items had been stolen: a laptop worth 250€, 700€  in cash, credit cards, Lucas´s passport and my driving license.

We have made this page to kindly ask for support to recuperate some our losses. The stolen money was our savings we had made from street performances in Europe, and was to fund the rest of our trip. [We are using our friend´s, Ella´s, bank account to collect the donations as we only have foreign bank accounts.]

 We reported the incident to the police and have contacted the travel insurance and car insurance companies. The car insurance covers the cost of damage to the car, but has an excess of 150€. The travel insurance had in small print that the only losses covered are those bought on credit card, therefore we have nothing covered. The police dont have time to investigate the case but nonetheless we have the official report from them as proof of what happened.

We were hoping to earn some money back to carry on by busking these days, but unfortunately the weather wasnt on our side for that either.
