What is our project?
The funds are directly received by a group of young volunteers put together by myself, who recruit building companies and architects assessing damaged houses to start reconstruction and debris management. Most architects and builders are working voluntarily at the moment, however there is only so much you can do without funds. We aim to rebuild as many houses as we can from the 6,200 buildings that were destroyed. Winter is around the corner and many that are left homeless have homes but cannot afford to fix them ...
