Ethical, Eco-friendly & Inclusive Activewear Brand

Aim: Our Brand offers eco-friendly, ethically made activewear in inclusive sizes (XS to 5XL) to provide a slow fashion alternative for all sizes.

REACTIVE was founded to address the lack of comfortable, inclusive, and ethically made activewear for real, diverse bodies. The founders—one neurodivergent and one disabled—struggled to find gymwear that fit well, felt good, and didn’t compromise on sustainability or function. Disappointed by overpriced, fashion-led brands that ignored comfort, accessibility, and ethical production, they set out to create a brand that puts people and the planet first. 

Jim, injured in the military, spent 5 years using a wheelchair whilst he rehabilitated himself with strength training, and against the odds, learned to walk again. Left with permanent nerve damage and in constant pain, Jim knows how important it is to find activewear that is sympathetic, comfortable and fits well. It's also extremely important to find recovery outfits that feel good too.

Claire is neurodivergent, and with sensory processing disorder, finds any small label, scratchy fabric or ill-placed seam or zip can derail fitness goals quicker than you can say "one more rep". 

Because of these issues, and the desire to give back to those who can also give up before they've started on their active lifestyle for whatever reason, they decided to set up the brand REACTIVE.

REACTIVE's position on inclusivity is front and centre of everything they do, ensuring everyone, no matter what size, has access to look and feel good on their own fitness journey. Sizes in every product will be from XS to 5XL.

Not wanting to be another fast fashion, volume-over-value brand, they commit to producing apparel made only from organic and recycled fabrics, source from manufacturers with BSCI, GOTS, GRS, and OEKO-TEX certification, and only use inventory management companies with sustainability commitments, ensuring the whole supply chain is sustainable and ethically certified.

REACTIVE are pleased to offer a UK REWilding initiative for every single purchase made via our website, upon launch, in Autumn 2025. This donation funds complex ecosystem restoration—wetlands, peatlands, forests, and more.
