Deidre
Deidre was first elected to serve the people of Edinburgh North and Leith in 2015 and again in 2017 and 2019. As your local MP she has worked with businesses to bring jobs to this area, she has campaigned with local groups and backed local services. She has spoken up against Westminster cuts, Brexit and unaffordable energy bills. She has backed the WASPI women, climate action and stood with those who suffered from the infected blood scandal. On July 4th, put your trust in Deidre to stand up for you, for this constituency and for Scotland.
At this election, it's clear the Tories are finally on their way out. But Sir Keir Starmer’s pro-Brexit Labour only offer more of the same old Tory policies – with no answer to Westminster’s cost of living crisis. It is only by escaping the broken Westminster system that Scotland can build a truly better future.
The change Scotland needs is to be back in Europe as an independent nation - and we will only get that through democratic pressure from a strong SNP team. Let's make July 4th independence day!
That’s why we need to elect strong SNP voices like Deidre's in the House of Commons to push for real change and make sure Scotland’s voice is heard.
