Our Aim is to obtain an electric bus for our comminty and become netZero thus improving our community.

by Pete Brindley in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom

We are an entirely voluntary, not for profit, organisation headed by a group of Trustees, managed by a committee.

Our objectives are to provide transport for other non-profit making organisations, including the elderly and/or disabled, within the rural area of Ramsey and its surrounding villages.

We bring a lifeline to many residents who rely on our dedicated service.

We are well liked and thanked for our dedicated service that our volunteers do.

Our Facebook Page is commented on positively

Our two buses carry 15 passengers and are they are well used throughout the year.

We are looking to introduce an electric bus for our rural routes that is comfortable for all our passengers to use. Our existing buses are becomming expensive to maintain and one thing we do not like to do is to cancel a run when a bus is not available.

Here are some of our volunteer drivers.

Our Current Buses

These Buses will soon need to be replaced as they are high milage and expensive to maintain. We also need to be carbon nuteral by 2035 to meet UK Goverment guidelines. We would also like to be carbon nuteral.
