Help Beat Cancer - Trek the Great Wall of China

Aim: To raise as much money as possible for St Michael’s Hospice, by challenging myself to complete the week long walk of the Great Wall of China

I am a Mother, a Grand Mother, Daughter and Friend, in my 50 years, I have lost family, friends and colleagues of all ages to this horrid disease CANCER 😡.

I am also proud that I have a lot of family and friends that work in the Hospice, making a difference, caring and supporting patients. family that help raise money for the hospice.

I want to do my bit, I want to help make a difference!
Having been through my own health issues, I am challenging myself and have signed up to raise money for the Hospice, by completing a Charity led trek of the Great Wall of China!!

There will be some serious training and motivation required for the next twelve months for me!! 😂 what an incentive!

This week-long challenge starts just four hours north of Beijing and includes over 10,000 uneven steps, navigating the Yan Mountains to the Gubeikou Gateway and ascending the famous ‘heavenly staircase.’ Along the way, breathtaking views of the surrounding mountain landscapes will replace any feelings of fatigue with awe.

The funds required are £2000 for the trip and £1500 charity donation - however I’d like this donation figure to be a lot more, I’m hoping and praying with your help I can achieve this 🤞💕
