Aim: To raise the funds for a Femurett device for the local Physio Department to help others with Lower Limb Amputation

My name is Glen Greenwood. After suffering a lower-limb amputation on my left leg due to an accident, I have been working with and supported by the physiotherapy department at Scunthorpe General Hospital. They are doing the best they can with the apparatus they have. While attending this department, the staff have gradually guided me towards getting a lower-limb prosthetic leg. This journey has been positive and is ongoing.

However, the department has a need for a lower-limb apparatus that specifically supports amputees with below-the-knee amputations. This device is not currently available to the unit, and its presence would significantly speed up treatment for many people in similar circumstances.

The service, and so many individuals, would benefit from this equipment. As a gesture of gratitude to these dedicated, caring, and driven professionals, I would like to launch a fundraising campaign to see if we can reach the target needed to provide this much-needed apparatus.

Thank you.
