Our Story: Training Future Bartenders & Changing Lives

At Barfection, we’re passionate about creating opportunities in hospitality. We’ve seen too many talented, motivated people struggle to break into the industry simply because they lack experience or confidence. That’s why we launched our Bar Academy—a one-week, hands-on training programme designed to equip aspiring bartenders with real skills, industry knowledge, and job opportunities.

Since 2023, our Academy has trained 70 people, with an 81% success rate in securing employment. We cover everything from cocktail-making and free pouring to customer service, spirits, beer, and wine knowledge. The programme ends with a live bar takeover event, giving participants the chance to gain real-world experience in front of family, friends, and industry professionals.

Our Vision: Raising the Bar for Future Talent

We want to expand our programme and help even more people into work. However, with traditional funding sources running low, we’re turning to crowdfunding to keep our Academy alive.

How We’ll Use the Money

Every £3,000 raised will:

✅ Cover venue hire, equipment, stock & expert trainers
✅ Provide employment support & industry connections
