Rainbow for Africa is an international network of volunteers who work together with partners in Africa, to promote and deliver equal access to dignified living conditions and health interventions to underprivileged groups of the population. Our volunteers are mainly health professionals, but not only, with their support Rainbow For Africa UK took its first independent steps in 2015. In a period when in several countries prevail a divisive culture which emphasizes differences, Rainbow For Africa network promotes equality and the value of collaborative work, building bridges among people irrespective of their different cultural identities, races, beliefs, orientations or religions

High-risk pregnancies continue to threaten the lives of mothers and neonates in low and middle-income countries, increasing the risk of newborn death by 50 percent. In Kenya, 71 percent of high-risk pregnancies are preventable by access to basic medical provisions during pregnancy.
Rainbow4Africa is a non-profit organization committed towards improving access to healthcare in vulnerable populations across Africa. Modern technologies allow for unprecedented opportunities, and in particular portable ultrasound devices have the potential to transform access to healthcare in difficult-to-reach populations.
Our mission is to increase the number of sonographers and improve access to ultrasound screening for everyone, in particular for pregnant women. We strongly believe that every mother is entitled to the opportunity to ensure a healthy start for their child, and this can be achieved with quality prenatal care delivered by trained sonographers from our Point of Care Ultrasound (POCUS) Training Schools.
We kindly ask for support to not only improve the lives of countless mothers and their unborn babies, but also to bring POCUS schools to more areas across Kenya and other African countries. This collective collaboration, through fundraisers and individual donations, will help bring awareness and support to this cause.
