Promoter and Benefactor

The promoter of this prize draw is Race Against Dementia, registered address: C9 Glyme Court, Oxford Office Village, Langford Lane, Kidlington, Oxford OX5 1LQ, registered charity number 1165559 (England and Wales) and SC052594 (Scotland).

The benefactor of this prize draw is Race Against Dementia, supporting groundbreaking research to combat dementia.

Eligibility 

The prize draw is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years and over. Employees of Race Against Dementia and their immediate families, as well as anyone directly connected with the prize draw, are not eligible to enter.

Entry Method 

Participants can enter by making donations to Race Against Dementia through this Crowdfunder campaign. Entrants may enter as many times as they like. The number of entries each participant receives to the prize draw is dependent on the value of their donations. Full details of the suggested donations and number of entries are included on this Crowdfunder page.

Free Entry Route Free entry is available via post. To enter for free without making a donation:

• Write your full name, address, email address and contact phone number. Handwriting must be clear and legible.
• Include the name of the prize draw, "Sir Jackie Stewart Signed Mini Helmet Prize Draw".
• Send by first or second class post to: Race Against Dementia, 71-75 Shelton Street, London, WC2H 9JQ
• Only one entry per envelope. Multiple entries in a single envelope will be counted as a single entry.
• Postal entries must be received before 11th July 2025 at 11:55 pm BST.

Dates 

The prize draw opens on 2nd July 2025 and closes on 11 July 2025 at 11:55 PM BST. Entries received outside this period will not be counted but donations will still be accepted.

Prize Details

There are three prizes available to be won by three winners. The prizes are

• An exclusive signed Sir Jackie Stewart Mini Helmet
• Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool™ HP09 Formaldehyde Purifying Fan Heater
• A signed copy of Sir Jackie Stewart’s autobiography, “Winning Is Not Enough”

Each prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and no cash alternative will be offered.

Race Against Dementia reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize of equal or greater value if it becomes necessary to do so. If any details of the prize change, Race Against Dementia will endeavour to update this Crowdfunder page as soon as reasonably possible.

Winner Selection 

The winner will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received prior to the closing date using a randomised software process. The draw will take place on 16th July 2025. The winner will be notified within five (5) days via email.

The winner must claim the prize within ten (10) days of notification and will be required to provide proof of their eligibility to enter. If the winner does not claim the prize within this timeframe, or provide the required proof of eligibility, a new winner will be drawn.

The winner’s name will be publicly announced on the Crowdfunder project page within ten (10) days of the draw date.

Personal Data 

Personal data collected for the prize draw will only be used to administer the draw, contact the winner, and as specified in our Privacy Policy. Data will not be shared with third parties without consent other than is necessary to provide the prize.

Publicity 

By entering, winners agree to allow Race Against Dementia to use their name and image for promotional purposes, unless they request anonymity when claiming the prize. If the winner does wish to remain anonymous, Race Against Dementia may still provide the winner’s details to the Advertising Standards Authority to prove that a valid draw has taken place.

Disclaimers and Amendments 

Race Against Dementia reserves the right to amend or cancel the prize draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances out of their control. Any donations made will not be refunded if this happens. Any changes will be communicated via the Crowdfunder project page.

Insofar as is permitted by law, Race Against Dementia, their agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of Race Against Dementia, their agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Crowdfunder is not the promoter of this prize draw and is not liable for its content or operation.
