Our Centenary Project Worker, Rachel, has been in post now for 3 years. To celebrate this "workaversary" and to look forward to the next 3 years of this post, we are asking you to donate so we can continue to fund this post here at Hatfield St Lawrence Church.
Rachel's role at the church is "Youth, Children's and Families Worker" and this covers a whole host of activities that connect the church with the local community and support those in that age bracket explore faith further. These include:
- Little Lions Baby and Toddler Group
- Hatfield Heroes Youth Group
- Messy Church
- Holiday activities and Summer Club
- Pre-loved Uniform Bank
- Schools work inc. assemblies and RE support
- Noisy Children's Choir Workshops
- Seasonal activities such as Christmas Services and Pancake Parties
Rachel receives support by being part of the Centenary Project, which includes one-to-one mentoring, networking with other youth and children's workers in the Diocese and objectives setting.
The cost to employ someone in this post is around £23,000 each year, so if you have benefitted from any of the activities provided by Rachel and the children's and families worker here in Hatfield, please do contribute.
Thank you so much for your support.
