Dear friends, family and cake enthusiasts,

I hope this message finds you in the best of spirits. I’m writing to share an exciting and heartfelt endeavour that I have recently embarked upon - a dream that’s  been brewing within me for years, and one that I am incredibly passionate about.
My name is Rachael Fitzsimmons, and I’m a 19-year-old business student, with a deep-rooted love for baking. Since my childhood, I found solace, joy, and an undeniable sense of fulfilment in the art of baking. The idea of creating delectable, mouthwatering cakes has always been more than just a hobby to me; it’s a passion that drives my ambitions.

As I navigate through my studies and prepare to step into the world of entrepreneurship, I’ve decided to turn this passion into a business - a cake business to be exact. My dream is to share my love of baking with the world, to craft cakes that not only taste divine, but also tell a story with every slice.

However, as much as I am fuelled by this dream, the reality is that setting up a business requires financial resources that, as a student, I currently lack. That’s why I’ve taken the bold step of creating a crowdfunding campaign. I’m reaching out to my community both near and far to ask for your support in turning this dream into a reality.
