Do you want to be in a music video with Divina De Campo whilst supporting the most vulnerable parts of the LGBT community and the NHS?

In such a difficult time of isolation, we want to bring people together through music and showcase the power of community.

Colours of the Rainbow choir released a charity single back in November called Through The Storm and the lyrics have never been more apt. We want to showcase our resilience and our strength whilst reaching out to those who are feeling alone and isolated.

With this in mind, we would like to make a music video for our charity single. We hope to get as many people involved as possible, and, you will also have the opportunity of being in a music video with the fabulous Divina De Campo!  We ask that, if you would like to take part, you take a video of yourself lip-syncing to our charity single - while looking fabulous, of course! These videos will then be put together by a filmmaker and a 2D animator in a beautiful music video for our charity single to showcase that, although we are apart, we are not alone. Please email [email protected] or message QueerArts on Facebook for more details if you would like to be involved in this aspect.

Here is a Youtube link to the charity single you will need to use for the challenge:

Lyrics can be found in the video description.

We must support each other through this difficult time. This project will be working directly with members of the community who are feeling isolated, and any funds raised after the creation of the video will be split between the NHS, as well the wonderful York LGBT forum to ensure their projects continue during the Coronovirus pandemic - one of which being Colours of the Rainbow community choir. With a predicted shortfall of £9000, your help in delivering our projects has never been more needed.

Got an idea like this?

Over £200 million has been raised from our crowd to support the projects they love! Plus tens of millions more unlocked by our partners.
