The Prize

The Cause
At the beginning of 2024 Save Our Sportsman was established in order to protect The Sportsman Inn as a community asset which has now been secured.. Since then fundraising has taken place in the form of a share scheme allowing people to invest a minimum sum of £500 with the aim of purchasing the pub freehold outright.
The aim is to keep it as a community pub offering quality regional food and drink at reasonable prices for locals and visitors. The pub also serves as a hub for many community activities and events ranging from a very successful beer festival to hosting bird watching groups looking to spot the local white tailed eagles.
The addition of the quarterly prize draw allows you the opportunity to invest in The Sportsman Inn at a lower level with the knowledge that your money will be used towards securing a much loved community pub.
