Aim: Purpose built sports and health centre that equally accommodates disability and mainstream. Safe space and opportunities for local community
Family run club. Focusing on ensuring EVERYONE can access swimming as a life skill and competitive opportunities. We believe inclusion is key and our definition of this is EQUAL OPPORTUNITIES for all. We provide swimming and land based sessions to over 300 members. A third of our club includes disability.
We believe the following elements are key focus areas in order to develop as a person and as an athlete:

We work closely with different organisations in the local community and wider. We believe that partnerships are significant for development, upskilling, opportunities, support and awareness.
Our dream is to build more opportunities across many sports but mostly swimming for all abilities and ages, creating a safe space for people to learn and develop life skills. Raising awareness around disability and the importance of inclusion as well as demolishing the stigma and fear around coaching/including disability.

We would love to raise funds for a purpose built sports centre that caters EQUALLY for disability and mainstream.
We would like to bring a 50m competitive pool facility to the area as well as state of the art multi sport facilities and functional land spaces. This will open further doors to the community such as local stores and businesses, tourism, marketing, school sports hub and much more!
We aim to develop jobs within the centre allowing people with disabilities to access working experiences in a safe and positive way, meaning access to working/volunteering experiences locally rather than having to travel further afield.
We hope to be a hub for local schools across the county to fully restart and provide school swimming programs as well as behavioural rehabilitation programs giving pupils a purpose and upskilling opportunities.

Money raised will go towards designing, developing and building a sports centre purpose built to give EQUAL accessibility throughout the centre for both mainstream and disability.
Additional funds will go towards equipment for the state of the art facility, upskilling staff and help towards running costs.

This project will benefit the local community such as sports clubs; businesses; schools; council; external organisations and many more. The impact for the local community will be huge as they will be able to access state of the art facilities, life coaching, nutrition, seminar space, Kinetic chain release and sports massage treatments, high quality swim lessons and competitive coaching, job opportunities and volunteering experiences, skin care, hydrotherapy, sports shop and much much more.
