Amber wasn't breathing for the first 8 minutes of her life. She was deprived of oxygen, and there were complications... she was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at the age of 2, and now, at age 24, she's ready to tell you her story.
Amber is an intelligent, funny, and charismatic young lady, who simply wishes to thoroughly enjoy life and experience all it has to offer. But, she's trapped inside a body that doesn't work for her, and she gets around in an electric wheelchair.
It's beyond frustrating. Amber is smart. She has a lot to say, but Amber's speech impediment can make it difficult for others to understand her... and so people get frustrated, or bored, and then, leave.
Amber has been promised help and support with her books in the past. But those people have come and gone, and so she goes back to the drawing board.
Amber aims to cover the costs of an editor, illustration, ISBN, publishing, marketing and distribution (with a small amount going towards overheads, such as web hosting). Books will be pitched to buyers and bookstores (such as Waterstone's and Barnes & Noble), and an Amazon account will be created so that sales can be processed.
