New stretch target
Put on local concerts and workshops.
Unfortunately due to Covid, brass band activity halted simply overnight. At Markham, we had plans to develop our U3A band and "B' Band while also developing our links with the local community. These plans were simply halted without any warning.
16 months later and brass bands began to return to the band room. Our plans lay on the pile due to a lack of finances, having lost around £2000 due to having no money coming in from a lack of concerts.
We hope that now we are back to our new 'normal', we can start working on our plan in 2022 and start to gain new connections within our local community and hopefully encourage some new players to our bands through local engagements and school talks.
