The Vision:
🌟 Our Vision: As a charity, we now need more space and to have a permanent home for children and young adults who are involved in our services. Imagine a safe place where the doors are always open and always welcoming children and adults alike into a world of opportunity, creativity, and growth.
That’s our dream for Priory House, a Grade II listed building with a rich history and an even brighter future. We’re on a mission to raise £10,000 to transform this architectural gem into a vibrant hub for the arts, education, and life skills.
💡 Why Priory House? Priory House stands as a testament to our community’s heritage. It is a beautiful building nestled in the heart of Dudley and has the perfect space we need to set up shop and turn this into a fun factory for the benefit of children and young adults. But more than that, it’s a space that can nurture the talents and aspirations of our youth. With your support, we’ll create a sanctuary where every child and adult can shine, learn, and thrive.
⏰ Why Now?
Accessing essential services and safe social spaces is increasingly challenging. Nationally, 1 in 4 young people face long waits or rejection from mental health services, with schools tasked with greater mental health support responsibilities. Schools struggle as over 1300 children are missing from education in Dudley alone and the arts and health initiatives face further budget cuts this year. Dudley Youth Service is being eliminated, exacerbating disparities in access to critical services. It's time to bridge these gaps and ensure equitable support for all. We as a team have the opportunity to lease the building and we really need your help to make it happen.
What we plan to do with the money:
So, we're turning this building into a hub where different organizations can come together to help the community under the remit of:
By doing this, we can then be in a position to offer even better services, that complement each other. It's all about lifelong development, which means helping people to grow and learn at every stage of life.
🤝 Join Our Cause:
Your contribution will do more than restore a building and help us move in; it will build futures for all. Every penny will go towards making the space functional, educational materials and resources, program development, and workshops. It will provide a provision for the children and young adults of Dudley, to thrive and nurture their talents under our coaching and support.
