My name is Zaratu and I'm the founder of the Kombra Hub, a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to empowering women, with a special focus on single mothers. At the Kombra Hub, we believe that every woman deserves the opportunity to thrive both personally and professionally. Our mission is to provide practical support, comprehensive training, education, and personal development to help single mothers build their confidence and achieve their best selves in the workplace.

The Kombra hub will expect higher support needs from women with Black backgrounds, we often face additional challenges such as systemic racism, economic disparities, and limited access to resources, making targeted support crucial to address these unique barriers and promote equality.
Practical Support: We provide resources and services to help single mothers manage their daily lives, from childcare assistance to financial planning.
Comprehensive Training: Our training programs are designed to equip women with the skills needed to succeed in today’s job market. This includes vocational training, digital literacy, and soft skills development.
Education: We offer educational opportunities to enhance knowledge and open new career paths. From academic support to professional certifications, we help women achieve their educational goals.
Personal Development: Through workshops and one-on-one coaching, we focus on building self-esteem, resilience, and leadership skills. Our goal is to empower women to become confident leaders in their communities at home and workplaces.
