Portrait of Death

Aim: We are a team of 6 student filmmakers from Bath Spa University, making a 10 minute short film for our final coursework.
Synopsis:
In attempts to support her aging grandmother, Marly gets a job at The Osborne Bar, owned by Mr. Son. When asked to work the night shift, she discovers the real customers she has been hired to serve.
Through an old painting hung on the back wall, a veil to the other world is opened, bring ghosts and even Death into the bar. Fearing for her Grandmother's safety, Marly must face Death to find the true victim they have come for.
Aims:
With this Crowdfunder, we will use all the donations to elevate our production and allow us to be more ambitious with our vision, costume, props and location, forming the main section of our budget. As our final film, this project is crucial in defining our names and talent when going out into this industry, also allowing us to create a film to be proud of for our final semester at University.
Though we have been severely affected by Covid on such a practical course, we are a dedicated, passionate group and wish to use this new light of normality to make up for the time and experience we have missed over the past two years.
