WHO?
We are Delta Blue Unicorns , a community interest company located in Moray. We have been set up since 1998 , starting in Shropshire before moving to Scotland as part of our expansion. We are a non profit organisation, funded by donations and fundraising.
WHAT?
Working with horses and ponies on the ground, beneficiaries learn all aspects horse and pony care and safe handling. They take part in pony agility and dressage.
WHY?
Research and lived experience has shown that time spent with horses and ponies helps people overcome difficulties including trauma, addiction and additional needs. Building relationships develops skills and confidence and created positive coping strategies.
WHERE?
Our activities take place at our large modern equestrian centre in beautiful countryside on the moors and forests of Moray where we have four large arenas including a light and airy indoor arena for safe and comfortable use all year round. We have 40 acres of post and rail fenced improved grazing,
