Monika is a 21 year old student-filmmaker from Prague, based in Brighton. Hi! I’m Max, and I’m the producer and offline editor for ‘Polar Opposites’. Editing has always been my main focus within the industry, but throughout my time at university, I’ve come to appreciate the work that producers do and decided to produce this film as well as edit. I’m looking forward to working on this film, as I’ve worked with Monika, our writer/director on projects before and I’m excited to help her execute her creative vision.
Ember is passionate about advancing representations of trans people, from her presidency of the Brighton LGBTQ+ Society, to her directoral and festival debut, Familiar Touch (2024), and was immediately drawn to Monika's script. Ember has studied the ways sound and colour represent the queer and posthuman, to bring a new layer of depth to Polar Opposites.
