Weʼre raising £3,371 to support the Plymouth Raiders 83 Foundation.

The Plymouth Raiders 83 Foundation deliver inclusive programmes within schools, sports clubs and the wider community. The aim is to provide opportunity through sport as well as to promote numeracy and literacy projects, healthy lifestyle, extra curricular sports activities and social sport sessions for our more senior citizens, among many other events. By leveraging the influence of professional British Basketball League players and coaches, the Foundation work tirelessly to improve the lives of kids and adults alike.

The Team of Phil Hughes, Richard Mollard, Paul Nicholson and BBL player Will Neighbour are taking on the challenge to cycle 2094 miles (3371 KM - hence the total target - £1 per KM!) the equivalent of Plymouth Pavilions, the home of the Plymouth Raiders to Istanbul, the home of Bahçeşehir Koleji, our sister club in Turkey. None of these guys are experienced cyclists and so this is a challenge which is sure to stretch them all over the duration.
