Autism on the Water's yacht "Confidence" is currently stuck in the Caledonian Canal in Fort Augustus. We had started our journey up the North Sea from Port Edgar to Helensburgh where we will be based to provide more regular sailing activity for autistic people.
Sadly, our engine has broken down and requires a substantial amount of work to get back on the water again - the earliest we can get going again is the 1st June and it is going to cost the charity a substantial amount of funds which we really did not expect to have to spend.
We are devastated that we are not going to be ready for the Crinan Canal event of the Scottish Series but our priority is to ensure that Confidence's engine is repairs both professionally and safely to ensure its ongoing future works.
Anything you can spare will go towards the repair costs of fixing the engine and anything extra raised will be used to provide a further Crinan Canal event in the summer.
Thank you :)
