Supporting Dog owners During the COVID 19 Pandemic.
We aim to ensure we can maintain the capacity within the rescue and continue to priorities and care for emergencies where there is a risk to the welfare of the dog or owner
We are continuing to implement adoptions to successful applicants, following Government guidelines to ensure this is done safely.
With your support we can continue to work with vulnerable dogs at risk. We can continue to help dog owners to ensure their dogs are in safe foster homes while they are unable to look after themselves or their dogs. This is something we have successfully achieved for the last 3 years.
All dogs in our care get all the necessities they need while their owners are absent. We fund all vet treatment and other expenses such as food, bedding, bowls, toys & treats for all of the dogs in rescue including those belonging to a vulnerable person. We continue to deliver dog food and other products to vulnerable dog owners who need them.
Since the lockdown, we have relied heavily on the support of your donations. Restrictions on our ability to fundraise is a massive drawback since the vast majority of our income is raised from the community via events, collection tins in public venues & general interface with the public. We have also had to cancel our two annual dog shows, which is the major events of the year & generates over four thousand pounds each year.
Please help us with our mission to help dogs in need of rescue, & those already in with us.
Thank You.
