• Since being diagnosed they found that my spinal cord has been damaged. I have had surgery and now have a metal cage in my neck. This will prevent me getting worse. However, my symptoms will not get better. I have limited use of my hands,neurological pain and have trouble walking. 
• PIP will only give me standard rate mobilty as I can plan a journey and can walk a little. Therefore I do not qualify for help getting a mobility scooter. 
• Please help me get one I feel isolated and missing out on life being stuck the house all the time for fear of falling when I go out.
