Play On is a piece put on by Resilience Theatre Movement, following a successful run of "Waiting for Champagne: in the 2023 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Play On follows two estranged siblings locked in an escape room in order to find their late Mother's last will and testament.
Highlighting Hamlet and Twelfth Night, the two siblings must work together in this room if they have any hope of understanding their inheritance. Following complex clues about their personal lives, the siblings quickly learn that they will have to address past hurts gone unsaid.
The set and props are vital to the production and money raised will go towards venue fees, marketing and PR, set, costumes, and towards paying the artists.
After a well recieved script in hand performance in March, Play On promises to be a production to experience: "The unique and darkly comic circumstances, combined with deft writing and engaging performances, means this should be one to watch in August" - A Young(ish) Perspective.
