Hay Town Council – Play Projects for All: Giving Every Child a Chance to Play

Hay-on-Wye is a town that attracts visitors from all over the world, thanks to its beauty, charm, and reputation. However, the money brought in by tourism doesn’t always benefit the local community, especially our children.

While the town thrives on tourism, many of Hay’s youngest residents don’t have the modern, safe, and inclusive play areas they need. Far too many children in our community are without accessible spaces that encourage healthy physical activity, creativity, and social development.

This crowdfunder aims to change that. With your support, Hay Town Council is working to improve and expand our local play areas. From upgrading outdated playgrounds to introducing new, exciting, and inclusive play zones, every penny raised will go directly towards creating spaces that are fun, safe, and accessible for all children, regardless of their background or abilities.

Our goal is simple: to ensure that all of Hay’s children have the opportunity to play, learn, and grow in an environment that fosters their well-being. Let’s make sure that the benefits of our town’s success are shared by everyone, starting with our youngest generation.
