Always on

This project successfully funded on 30th April 2020, you can still support them with a donation.

Aim: With the loss of our Spring/Summer 2020 season due to COVID-19, the Artist Relief Fund will help our young musicians during this time.

The Piccadilly Sinfonietta is one of the UK's newest and most exciting ensembles.  Performing throughout the UK, the chamber orchestra presents concerts to thousands of audience members each season.  With the global pandemic and the uncertainties associated with it, we have lost the Spring and Summer performances of our 2020 Season.

This suspension of performances not only impacts our audience, it also gravely impacts our talented young musicians, many of whom are in a very difficult position as concerts and teaching jobs are their only source of income.

In the loss of our season, The Piccadilly Sinfonietta has lost all sources of revenue to help support our musicians during this time.  The Artist Relief Fund will go directly to our artists, easing their burden until we are able to take the stage again.

Our Goal:

  • to help compensate the musicians who have lost their fees by cancellations and postponements
  • to support our young musicians in their time of need
  • to make up the loss of income for the over 15 concerts cancelled due to COVID-19, funnelling it directly to the musicians affected

Your support will bring hope to our musicians when many are worried about how they will pay the bills during this crisis.  Thank you for your generosity!

We ask project owners to honour their rewards wherever possible but please note that all pledges are donations and there is no guarantee that you will receive any rewards from the project owner. Please see Crowdfunder's Terms of Use for more information regarding rewards for pledges.
