We're still collecting donations
On the 8th January 2021 we'd raised £450 with 11 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.

On the 8th January 2021 we'd raised £450 with 11 supporters in 21 days. But as every pound matters, we're continuing to collect donations from supporters.
Spread a little seasonal joy to some young men separated from their families and oppressed by war.
Any surplus money raised after the purchase of the projector will go to their own residents committee with the intention to relieve their lockdown bordom and create motivation it will be handled directly by their friend Hellana Hetfield who is our main contact and admin of the face book group.
Due to covid restrictions life in the dilapidated old military camp has got even worse for these young refugee men, as they cannot go out now, we aim to give them a projector that will link with their smart phones so they can continue with vital zoom english classes, but also so we can organise FUN zoom sessions to raise their spirits, we have been offered online challenges and games and circus skills classes and free equipment from the local group Majical Youth.
Some of the young men have now gone on hunger strike due to undercooked food being provided, they are not allowed to cook for them selves but now fear getting ill from what is provided, there are various initiatives beginning to get food and snacks in to them now and today they won the war to have their kettles back!
This fund will help improve their life conditions and hopefully help restore some autonomy and dignity to them in these insane times in an insane place!
