Raising funds for Peacock Nursing Home

The care homes in Scotland have been massively overlooked by the government in terms of providing workers with vital PPE, until recently they’ve not had much of a mention in the press and its coming to light now just how vital these key workers are in caring for some of the most vulnerable people in our country. Deaths from COVID-19 in care homes haven’t  been counted thus far in the daily totals, does this mean these people don’t matter because they’re at the end of their lives?. The thought of our Mum and anyone else’s Mum, Dad, brother, sister, Auntie, Uncle having to suffer even more and to be alone when COVID-19 eventually makes its way in to their nursing home is a terrifying thought. We’re raising funds to provide the home with toiletries for the residents and also to help them now that their usual fundraising activities have stopped for the forseeable future. This will allow them to spend extra funds on whatever they need to allow their staff to do their job safely. Any amount no matter how small will make a difference and we would so appreciate whatever you can give. Thank you.
