Our charity is funded solely from grants and donations without which we would not be able to survive. The unit was formed around 1960 and as such will be 65 years old in April 2025.
Since the Covid lockdown we have seen a major reduction in the level of donations received, some of which have closed completely. Fortunately we had plans in place to have some back up savings that would help us through any unforeseen events. With escalating prices effecting almost everyone even our small one off donations seem to have almost disappeared.
Earlier this year 2024 we received news that we had a water leak between our premises and the meter which is located some distance away from the unit and had been leaking for some time.
It now transpires that we may be liable not only for the cost of the water but of reinstating the connection. If this is the case we could be looking at a rather large bill which is not covered by our insurance. We need your support to raise funds.
As they say "Every Little Helps!" From a one off donation of £5 to a regular monthly donation, every pound will make a difference. Could You Help?
